missus birthday so take her to see her relatives

pull up apply handbrake BANG! handbrake cable snaps so only got left hand side holding the car now Sad

rush round the garages earliest can fit me in is monday and will cost £70 for both sides including labour

bad times Sad car also gets cambelt and waterpump done tomorrow gonna be a hard month and only just started Sad

1st if you are pointing uphill

It ain't gunna move when it's in gear.

Handbrake is only really needed if your brake pipes burst while your driving, and even then you could slow down using engine braking.

i didnt have a handbrake on mine for 6 month (same problem you had) got them fitted for about 10quid i think i supplied the cables tho

i always use both gears and handbrake
but for them 6months it was fine on gears

did that before, lost brake servo.

with only handbrake manage to drive from sheffield back to leeds
