this is for my little brother he has a 1.4 hdi

it has a problem with the pressure pump he been told which if im right is part of the pump unit in the tank under the rear seats

he been quoted nearly £500 but i think this is just to get some cash as they know he is as dumb as f**k when it comes to cars lol or is it more than just a straight swap over

Is it definately fuel? What's the issue?

Could be the vaccume pump if not, even so £500 is ridiculous.
