HI i have just bought my first car a peugeot 206 1.4 lx.
its working well but when i am in first gear and lifting from biting point it makes a noise. it does it sometimes in second gear as well.

just had it serviced and they could not tell what the problem was the guy goes he is not sure what it is.

some one pllleaseee hellp. Crying or Very sad

What kinda noise? Could do with bit more info? Could be release bearing. Gearbox has to come off for this so may as well change clutch at same time

the best i can really explain is dat its like a screeching noise. but only for first and second gear.

how much would it cost roughly do you think?

i have listened to the noise again and it sounds like its coming from the front by the tire when i move off?
