Second attempt with mole grips and wouldn't grip thread without it turning so no luck, got the rear brake calipers and pads off then seen a yet another torx screw holding the disc in that wouldn't budge. Whoever engineered this torx fitting needs to be shot ... Why can't they be like Ford or BMW oh i forgot its f**** peugot.

Torx fittings have been around for 45 years.
Disc screw = impact driver OR if you havent got one put the torx bit in the screw head & hit it hard several times with a hammer BEFORE you attempt to undo it.

A small hacksaw is perfectly adequate.

i just remember other cars ive been on they had standard screw fittings, as for the drop links most other cars have a bolt or fixing to anchor down on the opposite end.
edward u reckon a small hacksaw would take the bolt off a drop link, i cant see that working ?
I tried hammering the torx screw on the disc, looks like an impact torx is best option. Why oh Why did i buy a 206.

Genuine Peugeot drop links will have spanner flats on the threaded stud to stop the ball joint turning as you undo the nyloc nut.

3rd attempt at taking that god damn nut off the drop links this time with a hacksaw and a hammer and chisel even with 1/3 of the nut cut off and chiselling it like hell the thing still won't budge... Not sure i be able to get a nut splitter over it ...
