Something different, my car has been like this for a while, just curious on anyone esle that has this. The rust under the rear glass problem.
My 54 plate GTi has this, and my 03 plate HDi had it:

none of my 206s have got it but i have seen quite a few come in at work like that always just that tiny bit in the same place not quite sure why

Bet it would be cheaper to source another tailgate than fixing it. Surely the rear glass would hve to come out for it to be fully treated?

54 plate with a rusty tailgate? 
Peugeot fixed the incorrectly fitted rear window / rusty tailgate c**k up years ago, are you sure that is the original / factory fitted tailgate?

Do you know what the problem was with the fitting? I have bought another boot from a 2000 plate.

Something to do with the rear screen fitment on a certain production timeframe of tailgates, always rusts at the bottom of the opening along the edge with the glass.

Mines directly under the widow wiper no where near as bad tho, just a orange patch atm,  butt saying that my car has tiny dot EVERYwhere all over it

54 plate !!!! be looking at my body work more closely now. ( except for the obvious ' slide across the bonnet some disrespectful tard has done.... and the fact some poor old dear ran into the back of me the other day ( bless her ) i dont have any rust at all on my 54 )
