Will my car fail mot if i do not have a middle seat belt? i just put in half leather seats but my old seats had a middle seat belt built into the seat, the half leather ones dont, so i just put the middle anchor under the seat, will this fail?

What seats have you put it in?
If you have stuck in the 180 seats you will need to update the logo book to a 4 seater.

my seat belt was built into the actual seat, then i got these and it wasnt built in, il try one from a 306, wonder if the buckle is the same

Sounds like its an early interior been fitted so it would have had a lap belt originally 
Other half of the middle rear belt will be attached to the car the interior came from

Yep, defo 3 seat belt anchor's in the gti, but the middle one is for a lap belt..... If you've only got the two anchors leave it as that mate.....

All early 206 use a lapbelt for the middle rear passenger, later 206 have 3 x 3 point seat belts in rear except GTI 180 which is certificated as a 4 seater only.

yeah il have to try and find a lap belt somewhere hope my local breakers have one or might try and see anyone on here has one  cheers

im driving a standard lx hdi it has 3 anchors, dont want to chance it by hiding the 3rd one il try and get a lapbelt somewhere, cheers

My old 405 I hid the middle lapbelt under the seat base as there lethal, come mot time it was always pass & advice for rear seatbelt for 5 years on the trot

if you dont have seatbelts take out the seats your car will still pass the mot you will have an advisory saying that you was a seat missing but it wont fail the mot dont worry
