Fitted my new (second hand) icv last night but its still idling below 750, i'd say at 600 revs. Is this normal and if it's not what can i do to get the revs to where they should be?

It is a little when the engine first fires up but then when the revs drop it does sound like its struggling a little but everything is fine

Mine does exactly the same. Steady idle at 600ish revs. Cleaned out everything and still no change. No Warning Lights and never stalls. On A/C it idles closer to 900 but on ECO it always stays at 600ish

Thats exactly like mine does so it must be normal on older gti's as mine is the same year as yours Martin
