Hi all,

can you replace your brake pads without needing to replace your disks?
as i've heard a few times you should replace both at the same time but is it neccessary?

thanks in advance Smile

Yes you can.

Edit: It's if you replace your discs, you need to replace your pads due to the way they wear.

As long as the discs are not warped, cracked, lipped / rusted badly or below the minimum thickness ( which is normally marked on the disc somewhere ) then leave them.

The asbestos free pads used today are a lot harder wearing on the discs then the olden days Laughing
