So I bought some SP mats off jamie1337 who is breaking a firedance GTI and when they arrived they were filthy (no offence) so out came the jet wash, a brissal brush and some carpet and upholstery cleaner..he is a before during and finished after 3 days drying and a final Hoover!

And here they are in my car! Not bad for a set of 10 year old mats!

I've also bought some pressed plates for my car..

I bought some number plate surrounds too as I didn't want to drill the plates or loose them by sticky not being so sticky so I got some lockable surrounds and here they are on the car..

I know the back is looking kinda busy at the moment but don't worry, a ph2 bootstrip is on the way which will be sprayed in silver:)

To Do
-Fit EYC side strips that are coming my way from Raz
-Fit Gloss black wiper cover from Raz
-Collect and fit newly refuted SP arches
-respray honeycomb grill gloss black again and go over red strips again
-Look into Crysal headlights of some sort
-New rear lights of some sort (below)

All c&c welcome Smile

Cheers raz! Do you think they suit? I was looking at m3 rears but I am liking them because they're different and rare! Thinking of keeping the side strips in black now! What do you think?!

Cheers Matt! They do make a difference, lower because it's wider!! Maybe sending you a PM this week but you'll have to wait and see!

Today i gave the car a wash after i recived the bargain of the century in the post..

A Set of Genuine Masked Valeos off ebay for £40..yes £40 posted!! I fitted them today and got them adjusted however just need alot of TLC as they have been lying about for ages by the looks of it! the N/S lens has a scratch on it so was wondering if anyone knew if you could get headlight lens de-stratched or taken back to nothing with a machine polisher or something? also 2 of the fixing elements of the driver side are damaged or missing but doesnt affect how it sits Smile

Here are some pics - The front end looks brilliant now with the pressed plates and number plate surrounds!

i am going to concentrate on my ICE for a bit and try to improve it now! i was thinking of spraying my red strip on the honeycomb grill but undecided on a colour..was thinking aegan blue?
Thanks for reading, please comment, all C&C welcome Smile

They arent the best condition but they work.. how did you get on with masking your own? i still have those inserts in satin if you want them? i can give them another fresh coat for you mate before you buy them if you like? split them swap the insides and then reseal?
