Hi guys, just bought a 206 2.0 hdi the other day.
Fitted the 180 interior totally fine, however, my drivers seat as of today doesn't lock in place anymore, it just slides.
A lever type latch thing was under the seat, looked like it had snapped off.
Any ideas on how to fix it?
Also, my car doesn't lock. It locks then unlocks straight away. Both doors and the boot mechanisms are all in working order.
Would appreciate any help. Cheers, Marty.

I had the lock issue on mine a while back, it was the drivers locking mech as water get into it and screws it up. so I changed it and worked as new then. But could be any of the doors so take the door cars back off and unplug the plug going to the unit 'a side at a time' to eliminate the fault also include the boot one.
It worked for me so hope this helps mate

Door will most likely be the solenoid. Check them by locking the door with the key individually- hold the the key in the lock when turned and you will should feel it bounce. If it does, thats the faulty locking solenoid that needs changing.
Seat sounds like the runner is buggered as that happened in my old gti and i sourced a drivers seat going cheap and changed the runner over.

Right, sorted the seat today, it was just the clip that snapped off, sourced a new one for free
However this locking thing....
The guy I bought it off was a bit of a butcher with the soundsystem (it had all been taken out).
There were wires literally hanging out the radio space. So today I removed the block that goes into the head unit, and taped up all the wires with proper electricians tape. So I'm going to pull apart my dashboard this weekend and hopefully get my wires and head unit sorted. Also, my key doesn't turn in the door lock?
I don't know why. How much would new locks be? Would I also need a new ignition, key etc?
Thanks guys!! Really appreciate this.

Bump
Also, anyone got any idea why the radio isn't working?
Tried to fit my head unit today....
And my head unit just wouldn't switch on. The guy literally butchered the sound system. Whats the best idea to do?
Open the dash and get a proper look?
