I got my car's brake fluid replace today by a local garage, he only charged me £10 - I just had to get the brake fluid for him.
He only used 800ml of dot 4 brake fluid. How can I check to make sure he did flush the old brake fluid out? |
no one will flush the old fluid out (at least i won't)
the brake system only hold less than 500ml of brake fluid; the rest is waste when you bleed the brakes.

Seabook I watched a video on how to use a ezibleed. It pumped in new fluid and The old fluid went into a Seperate container and the mechanic in the video said when the fluid is clear then check the level of fluid in the reservoir.
So maybe some garages do pump all the rubbish out?

Gunson Eezibleed FTW
Makes the job so much quicker & easier to do
Also works on forklifts
You should really get rid of all the old fluid in the system, you can tell by the fluid colour when fresh fluid is coming out the bleed nipple.
