Got a new boot but it hasn't got a tinted window like mine has
Anyone ever changed a rear window successfully?
3 door 206 btw

Probably better off giving it to a specialist to do, ive heard its a bit of a pain to do ureself

As members have said above, just get your new window tinted, not heard of anyone swapping the glass over on here anytime recently

Iirc you need a specialist tool to do it. Although that may be for the front :/

Blimey, tbh it doesn't look to hard to do, I mean I've removed a windscreen before on a scrap car just for fun and to see how easy it was.
Just wondered if anybody had.
Don't think it's worth the hassle though, might just get the new boot tinted

a rear tinted window would only cost £45 quid anyway! easier to do it that way!

Nope, its BONDED to the tailgate frame, you really need a windscreen fitter / special tools to remove / refit it without damaging something.
Not worth the hassel.
