The RS2000 looks in good nick. Love the Mk2 Escorts but prefer the RS2000 with the nose cone.
Keep on looking at an old Mk2 and thinking about building a RS2000 replica and put a 2.1 pinto engine in it. Still got a few parts for it stuffed in the back of a workshop from my rallying days, unfortunately the shell had taken the shape of the roll cage.

For anyone interested, the Escort is completely rebuilt from scratch, not a spot of rust on it anywhere... and rocking a Honda S2000 engine, redlining at 9800rpm and 280bhp  Its an ANIMAL.
