So i woke up to go uni got into my car and noticed there was a little puddle on the driver side mat. I lifted the mat and the carpet below was also wet from the rain.

Any idead as to how it could have come through and from where. All the other parts are dry, the seats are also dry. :s

Thanks

Have you had the door cards off recently?

Check the drain holes at the bottom of the door to make sure they aren't blocked. Did you reseal the plastic/foam inner liner when you replaced the door cards?

The aerial mounts on the front have a habit of leaking if they have been disturbed but that usually ends up in a puddle around the gearstick

The drain holes are at the bottom of the door as macca said. If you open the door and look underneath it you'll see them.
If you have any discarded rubbish (speaker wire etc) it could be blocking these holes.

Mate of mine had water in the footwells everytime it rained on an old Fiesta due to the sill drain holes being blocked.

Typical crap Ford design, they decided to make the sunroof drain tubes empty out in to the sills Rolling Eyes

He did have the complete dash & windscreen out while trying to find the leak Laughing

Wonder how many people on here actually bother to check / clear the drain holes Wink

Look at the door from the bottom. They are on the seam between the inner and outer skin.

You can just see one in this picture (bottom right), there is a similar one towards the front of the door too.
