I have just fitted another gti engine into my other gti and been driving it this week and have noticed that when i let off the clutch there's a knock from the front and when i go over a bump with the n/s wheel it knocks.
Havent had a look yet due to work. Any ideas?

i had a knock when starting mine form having the timing belt done etc

it turned out to be a mount that was not quite tight enough try that
for the knock around the wheel check droplinks are tight other than that im not sure
