Basically, i have a set of SP pedals and a matching foot rest plate to fit to my car. Instead of Tigersealing or drilling my current pedals i thought i could use my GTI pedals that i have had lying about for ages and put the SP parts on the pedals and fit them.
would this be an easy thing to do or is it more hassle than its worth?

So you want to change the pedals over just so you can fit the SP pedals? Sounds like a lot of hassle to be honest much easier to just fit them on the the pedals you have in the car already.
Foot rest is easy to fit 4 self tappers no need to drill or use tiger seal on that one.

yeah your right mate, i think im just gonna put the foot plate in as i have the self tappers and then just sell the pedals as i can be dealing with trying to bond them and it not holding if you get me or drilling my current pedals.

I drilled mine without any problems and they do make a difference to the interior, don't give up without even trying

did yours not come with them as its an XSI? which method did you follow?

did you drill the rubber or drill the metal on the pedals after you removed the rubbers?

No point in drilling through the rubber and ruining a set of pedal covers.
Take them off and drill them. Might be tight for space, but it shouldn't be a biggie.

Yeah remove the rubber and as said it is a bit tight but it's all good. If you can get hold a drill adaptor so that the drill can drill at right angles that would make it easier.
