I have a 1.4 petrol 206 without A/C the temperature gauge has always read 30 degrees higher than the actual temperature and I've been just ignoring it. Recently the needle drops to the bottom before shooting past the red and the stop sign flashes up and the high speed fan kicks in.
The low speed fan appears not to be functioning and after searching other topics thought it might be faulty wiring or relays. I spent a few hours taking my front bumper off only to find it does not have any relays and just one wire into the fan. I have also replaced the temperature sender on the engine and this still hasn't resolved the issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
have you popped, the little black cover off behind the bumper, in there you will find your low speed and high speed relays, i have just done mine, and they are defiantly there. there will be a black box with 3 of those black push in clips pop them off and there will be your relays
