Hi guys, my front drivers seat is broke I have a three door and the bit that is broke is the mechanism which allows people to get in the back. You can pull the handle/leaver and it will violently shoot forward as normal but when it comes to pushing the upper half of the seat back to its set position it doesn't click into place it will just keep forcing itself forward (untill your head hits the steering wheel!) until you push it as far back as it will go (practically horizontal!!!!) and then it will stay in that place until you pull the leaver/handle and then your back to square one... Is this fix-able or will I need a whole new seat ?

Hey im not sure the exact problem, But a new seat would be as cheap as £10 then you just take the fabric off and place it onto the new seat frame!

There's lots of different faults that happen with the seats but I'm pretty sure this is the one where you simply need to get hold of the seat back and force it back up from the horizontal and into position again. I'm sure it happened to me a while back and that was the simple and instant cure
