Hi all,
Hoping you can help here.
I was driving along and slowing down to a coast (probably about 3mph) with the clutch in and the car just cut out. (lost power steering and abs etc).
I'd only started the car about 2 mins prior, so the engine was cold.
I'd had a few idling problems when it was cold - wouldn't hold idle when 1st started from cold, but that seems to be ok now.
But i've also noticed that occasionally if I don't quite give it enough gas when setting off/changing gear, there is a rattle/rumble from the clutch or gearbox.... but I put that down to lazy driving when I'm shattered.
Wondered if my clutch is on its way out, but i've had cluthes wear on me before and this doesn't seem the same.
Sort of lost for ideas here!
Thanks in advance!

Hmm.. see that would make more sense then and possible stop me going mad! I've been looking on the servicebox and couldn't see one
Damn, so I guess I'll have to go get it plugged in when I can stump up the reddies.
Why can't car's be simple like in the old days, I'm no good with this electric stuff! Can't wait to move house and get a garage so I can stuff a classic in there!
Cheers though mate.

Slight update to this.. I'm still having issues but now own a 307 haynes manual as it has my engine in it.
I beleive this could be due to a faulty MAP sensor or something to do with the air intake as the engine doens't seem to be getting the required air/fuel mix when cold.
Aside from the MAP sensor, any other sensors I can check/clean/replace that control the air/fuel?
I'll be cleaning the TB and butterfly to make sure that isn't sticking, but it seems fairly clean...
