I bloody well hope there not cross threaded or frozen :L and I also am in a job where I have to tighten and losen things to correct torque myself everyday, but like I've said the only problem I'm having is getting them loose, cause they have obviously been over tightened

There is no-way you'll get enough torque when fitting the new one's in with that.
They need around 25Nm and it surprising how tight that is when using torque-wrench.
Especially on aluminium, it's important to get it just-right and not cross the threads as the others have said.
I have also seen 3 cars with rattling-loose spark-plugs when time came to change them..

It might be quite good for locating and threading-them-up correctly since they're at an angle, then use a stronger tool to finaly tighten.

25Nm isn't that tight....not much more than finger tight.

I got told once the general rule of thumb is to finger tight them, then a 1/4 turn with a socket, no more, no less...

Depends if its a taper seat spark plug or one with a flat washer.
Normally tells you on the back of the packet how tight to do them up.

I have one, but it only does 30nm to 120nm 
Plus I use the better fuel anyway, I don't have need for spark plugs

It does tell you on the packet.
Finger-tight plus 1/4 turn will mean rattle-rattle in no-time.
25Nm or thereabouts is what Peugeot says and that's tight.

I tightened mine to 25nm, normally it isn't that tight but on spark plugs it felt forever thought I was going to strip the thread
