Thank you guys Smile How on earth can you tell? lol.

I think I need to take engineering/mechanics courses haha

No idea why people can do 60mph in like 3 seconds faster then!

Just out of curiosity I timed how long it taken to get from 70 to 80 in 5th gear - 4.5 seconds

Does that sound right?

Own a Blue Peugeot 206 GTI 180.

Ye defo a 180 like I said Ngk plugs in a 180 will kill performance this could be we're your problem is. U should be useing bosch super 4s.

How does it accelerate is it smooth power delivery constant up to about 4k then slightly picks up more about 4k?

And also official 0-60 times are done in perfect dry conditions with good tyres a new car and a experienced test driver.

On the 'how do I know my car is a GTI 180' front - it has a 4-2-1 exhaust manifold which is easily seen at the front of the engine. That's probably the easiest visible thing (most other things are easily swapped to/from other 206's). Obviously an HPI check will also tell you what car you've got.

The 0-60 times - take the ESR off and it'll be quicker. Best time on my old 180 (54-plate) was 7.1 seconds. It's just practice to get it lower (and obviously a long enough private airstrip).

User manual - do you actually need one? It's a 206 - it will break down, but is easily fixed.

The exhaust manifold is not at the front, its at the rear on the gti lumps.

Shut it u stupid little f**k, what's the point in posting in all my treads being such a c***? Least I can afford a gti180, and to get the cam belt done!

So apparently everyone knows my financial situation? If I wanted a 180 I would have bought a 180 simples Smile

Lights normally do that Smile
Yeah you have a 180 so yeah rev it as high as you like It would be unlikely for it do go bang unless obveously if you sat on the rev limiter for ages which would be pointless haha
As for NGK plugs and 0-60 times, I have a 180 running NGK plugs and it hasn't "killed" my performance :'-) I still get 0-60 in about 7 seconds with traction control off Smile but I have yet to find out if the myth is true about NGK plugs nackering your coil pack and messing with the electrics etc

It's not a myth mine had Ngks in it for 2years after buying it then decided to get genuine parts from Peugeot and did a service it was more responsive and seemed to rev better.

Peugeot wouldn't recommend and use them there selfs if the could use any old plug and save money.

those 4 metal pipes at the front that go from the engine block. I presumed it was a 4-2-1, but not actually seen where they go.

What's wrong? The inlet manifold?

I got a dig bick.
You that read wrong.

He means you wrong because it's not a 4-2-1 manifold you can see at the front as its located at the back off the engine you can see the inlet manifold which is the reason it's connected to the tb and the airbox.
