Thats around 68350 miles
I've only every replaced one clutch on a car & that was only because the crankshaft main oil seal failed & dumped oil on to the friction plate.
My 206 TU3 is still on the original factory fitted clutch at 89k ish miles

Don't think so, 18 years driving, 2 motorbikes and various cars, never replaced a clutch (my old 1600 had 160000km...)...
Someone else has a GTI breaking...
1st clutch was destroyed as I bought the car, the one I fitted keeps juddering, so I replaced it. 40000Km and this one has gone, I think the spring get bended (as stock one).

I think you have flywheel/gearbox issues.

| This 206 IS going on a trackday despite it's every effort to stay at home in the garage! | |

If your on your 4th clutch you either need to learn how to use the clutch properly, stop launching off at traffic lights or you need to get the car checked out because that isnt right...or you used p**s poor replacement parts.

Going through 4 clutches in less than 70k miles is a bit drastic,
I've heard of people changing their clutch ever 30-40 k miles but that's still half of what you've done haha

A decent driver should be able to get 100k + miles out of a clutch on a average road car IF the mechanical side of things is in good working order.

Changed mine at 28k (I think) but that was due to a lot of heel to toe shifting and the trust release bearing made its horrible noise.

I work in Citroen, so genuine parts were used...
