what oil do they put in? how much oil do they put in? what tools do you used to read the code as none of those code should affect the gearbox

Peugeot oil I used the dealer's oil. Regarding the tools I think he used a Bosch (ESI Tronic) I think. and for the gear code (0028) some other hand held tool with some letters, s z c h s ... (I Don't think I can remember)

After even changing gear oil and the head gasket and water pump, and timing belt, still gear is acting weird! It shifts erroneously.
