So bassically on my 1.4 206 I have 2 annoying rattles, the first coming from the drivers side, right at the front but it only does it when driving slowly over things like manhole covers etc. second rattle/squeak seems to be coming from the spare wheel cage, when the wheel isn't in the cage it's fine but when it is there is a constant annoying squeak! Are there Anyways of stopping it?without having to remove the wheel from the car alltogether
Cheers

Welcome to Peugeot ownership, there will be many more rattles and squeeks on their way.

Beat me to it ![Very Happy Very Happy](images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif)
The first is probably a suspension component like a drop link. the second, try tighten the cage up or find something to pad it. I took mine out because it always rattled, worse still it didn't matter how much I tightened it, it had a habit of deploying my spare wheel in the middle of the road when I went over speed bumps.

with the front rattle, could be you drop links rattling (tipical 206) or a brake pads rattling in the calipers.
as you your spare wheel situation...dab a bit of grease where the wheel goes up touching the car or tighten the carrier up more with the wheel in... ![Wink Wink](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif)
