I am looking for a 2.0 hdi diesel found a decent one but with high mileage 110k full service history, should I avoid? what mileage should I not be exceeding with this model? I know all engines are different, 2.0 hdi diesel think this would be best for me eco wise.
Thanks all

110 is NOT high mileage. If looked after these engines run well over 200k.

A full service history is a bonus as you know it has been done regularly. Only question is how has it been driven during that time. But I think with the history that Milage shouldn't make too much of a difference. If the car is sound and drives well I would get it inspected by a garage and all being well go for it.

depends if you do short or long journey.
diesel aren't too good with short journey.

if its not showing in the service history then you can either use it as a bartering chip on the price or if your buying from a trader you could try and get them to change it as part of the deal

not high at all
depends on price
change the cambelt anyway! even if he says its been done
as for them breaking under 100k, if not looked after then of course.
i've had 2 mk4 tdi golfs 0ne was still going way past 170k only gave up because it was forced to! ( misses wrote it off) and my other 1 just over 100k and was a bag of s**t, problem after problem because it was not looked after before i bought it
how many owners?

PPT 40 is only on the multiplexed 206's, its just the type of connector plug used NOT the actual spec of the display unit fitted.
Its a simple retrofit if the car doesnt already have it fitted.
Your looking for the 3 line PPT 40 display for the trip computer functions your after, also look for << on the end of the wiper stalk.
