I havent decided on whether to get new wheels as well as tyres or weather to save some dollar for better suspension...So my question is would a set of parada spec 2 195 50 15 fit the standard Gti Foudre wheels which are 6J. Would this squish them together to much??

Yeah they would be fine but I'd rather be fitting Toyo T1-R on the wheels as they are cheaper and also better than Parada Spec 2.

6J is fine for 195/50/15 and 195/55/15.

From a good mate who just went from t1r's to paradas he thinks they have better dry performance but what they gain in the dry they slightly loose in the wet conditions.

And 6J is the standard width of the Gti wheels as far as i know.

Cheers for the advice Wink

well back to the days i got my parada 2 35 quid per corner and i got massive wheel spin until 4th gear (dry) Laughing

and in wet is just horrible, at some point i am struggle to follow a van under heavy rain (only 60mph)

still got at least 5mm thread on them but next set of tyre i will get something more all round.; and probably not Japanese tyre anymore. Probably something like CPC 5 as i am very impressive when i used TS830 before.

mobile tyre fitter in leeds, fitting and balancing is an extra 10 quid per corner.

Im getting the paradas for £42.50 + Vat a corner fitted. Slightly more than the cheapest i could find online but these are fitted and at a local tyre fitter. I think the Paradas may have changed too.

Like i said they were a bit cheaper but once iv payed a garage something to fit them there's not much in it.

Probably easier to pop to my local Bathwich who my dad uses for all his garage customers so get looked after there Smile
