Open the door. Grab it from where it folds in then push from the other end.

Just pull it off but watch out you will guarantee to break the plastic lug clips that hold it on so best to go buy some before hand they are like 3p from peugeot!

You will break them if you pull it off. Slide it out slowly and all clips shoud be intact. Your a bloody cowboy Iain Laughing

Push from the 'pointy end' BACKWARDS [toward the rear of vehicle]?

Is there a clip or fastener at the 'folded end' [door opening end] that needs to be pulled forward, away from the door a little bit first?

many thanks!

Yes

No, Just get your nail's behind it and ease it forward a little bit then push from the other end.

many thanks!

In the end it actually pushed forwards, toward the front of the car to release the clips [at back].

Here's my experience...
Firstly push/slide the trim as far back towards the opening end as it will go then lift the trim away from the body work at the door opening end. BUT make sure you lift/pull the trim at least an inch away from the panel then using your palm nudge the whole trim towards the front of the door. Most clips will then slide out of the back of the trim staying in the door. Maybe the ones closest the lifted end will break so make sure you have a few spare ready.
However, if you do as I did Crying or Very sad and only lift the trim a centimeter or so away then nudge it forward it breaks/cracks the molded tab from the trim.

Then you're left with a gluing job to try to strengthen the tab so that when refitted it sits flush to the body work. Get this wrong and it doesn't ever sit tightly to the body work and looks terrible.
The remaining clips left in the door can be removed without breaking them if you are careful. I found if you turn the clips so they are an angle, like a diamond, then using some, flat, stiff plastic like a ruler you can push in the coned end from a 3 O'clock position in enough to enable the clip to be pulled/wiggled out.

Good luck
