Why is it Peugeot's fault YOU didnt diagnose the problem correctly before asking them to order in a non stock part? Rolling Eyes

Other car dealers for other manufacturers have exactly the same policy.

There not going to want a part back for a car that is no longer in production & has been superceded twice!

They would end up making a loss as Peugeot wont take it back so the dealer is stuck with it.

I work in pug parts and we get this all the time, self diagnosis. Then the customers come in and ask for a bit, we order it and it's wrong and somehow it's our fault when it's the customers diagnosis. Alot of parts on the ordering say non returnable which should be stated when ordering tbf and payment taken upfront or a deposit. And trying to send back stuff is a nightmare even if it is returnable, alot of hassle and time wasted due to incorrect self diagnosis. We have loads of stuff in bin locations from people returning stuff that's non returnable it's ridiculous
Get off the bandwagon, and put down the handbook.
