Greetings,
Is it possible to convert from cable actuated clutch to hydraulic actuated clutch on a BE4/5 gear box?
I find that it isn't soft enough and after a while in traffic my foot starts to hurt. It isn't about getting used to it or leg strength, it just hurts the ball of the feet.
Suggestions and/or solutions are welcome.
Thanks!

I had quite a serious problem with my left knee about a year ago...
I replaced clutch disk/plate/bearing (kit) and pedal got soft like a feather instantly.
Even though there was loads of life left on the friction disk, the springs go really hard due to repeated flexing
and metal fatigue/ageing. New set and you'll achieve what you're after I believe, at a fraction of the cost and opening wounds etc. New auto adjusting pedal cable also highly recomended when you do this.
P.S. Knee has been fine since.
