car-206 hdi-multi plex

ok quick question, i keep getting an airbag fault since fitting my 180 seat, comes up now and again and is p**sing me off!!! i traced it down to my passenger seat but cant find a fault with it?

anyway, i know the airbag ecu can be fitted from a 206 without seat airbags, but does it have to be from a multi-plex also? or will oe from a none plex fit? is it simple un plug old, plug in new?

thanks

other option is, if im thinking this is right, is to chop the connection block of the airbag loom and hard wire them together. As its a dodgy connection? Not a lot of people know how to remove the connection of the airbag without breaking it.
