Hi guys, yet another problem, my indicators come on randomly while im driving, and when i switch on my engine, has anyone had the same problem? Thanks

Had this problem on my first 206 and has just started on my current, I took it to the garage and they replaced a spring on the stalk iirc and it was sorted
Out of interest is it left or right on yours that has a mind of its own? Or both?

Its a 1.4 glx, it could be both but ive mostly seen it on the left, also when i just had my ignition turned on for the battery every time i opened a window it went off

Year is handy as pre October 2001 has separate stalks (Pre plexed) and post October 2001 (plexed) has the comms 2000 unit.

I have the same problem on my 99 GTi or at least I did. Hasn't done it in a while so fingers crossed its sorted itself out.
