Peugeot dealer carried out a BSI update and this time I check to see if it has updated by testing the drive-away lock which still does not work? Confused When I hold the central locking while in the ignition it only locks/unlocks the doors without showing the auto locking de/activation message. Before getting back to them anyone know what's up with it?

Thanks for your help Smile

It needs activating, The update may have updated the software to make it capable of doing it, but you still have to go into the setting and enable it.

All dealers are different, my local one charges over £200 for a diagnostic and update and got a quote from another dealer for £107 for diagnostic and update. They also charged me £17.50 for code search which I am trying to claim back because I didn't authorise and they didn't request my card anyway.

Your BSI may not have the feature for auto lock, even with an update it still doesn't mean it will be there.

Mine is the same on a 04, did an update and still the auto lock feature wasn't there.

Hatfield.

The problems I had that I can think out of my mind..

1) auto throttle to 8k
2) key in barrel when it's not, unable to use key fob central locking
3) oil level and service indicator wrong
4) Immobiliser and other electrical faults

I thought all 180s have same features? My friends 180 has drive away lock, don't bother me much at least I won't go through the problems I had.

Its a BSI option setting, although im sure its available in all BSI's. I just turned mine on. I bought PP2000 off Ebay when my local dealer wanted to charge me £80 for a diagnostic. Already paid for its self after i checked my faults, changed a few BSI options, and used lexia on my sisters Clio.

Seatbelt sound, seatbelt light, running day light, blinking internal light when door is open, rear wiper on reverse gear, auto lock, hazard on hard brake. For SW, re-lock if door not opened.
Edit: I'm almost sure that all MUX BSI have the auto lock feature with latest software: there are 2 different options to be activated in BSI to make it work...
