Yes Cosford as in near Telford
I've never known of the airfield to be used for trackdays, but I'm going to ask for permission to do a "low speed handling assesment" when it's ready

Video of race one. Too cautious on the first lap, then had some lockups on the 2nd due to cold grabby brakes. Finished two places down from where I started, but had no issues with the car, just need to build confidence:

Cheers, not the most interesting race footage but the car was reliable and I was consistent. I qualified only 0.25 secs off a 205 Mi16 but was nowhere near him during the race.
Have some video of race 2, will upload that by tomorrow

Racing at Snetterton on the 200 circuit this Sunday in the MGCC 4 hour Relay Race with RAFMSA Team Flywheel There's me, a 306, 406, 205 and an MG Midget.
Really looking forward to that, I've never raced at Snett (old or new) but I have ridden a bike there on the old circuit.

What a great event, the collection of race cars is fantastic, not a Caterfield or Radical in site
I had the second stint, after the 405 got us safely through the start and the first 55 minutes of the race. A big slide on the first corner told me to take it easy and get the tyres warm before pressing on. After about 15 mins, I was caught and passed by a Britcar spec Civic running on slicks. A few laps later I caught him up again, was he having problems?? The majority of my stint was now spent trying to find a way past him, as he was holding me up in the corners and then powering away on the straights. He left the door open a few times, but I didn't have the grip to stick it inside him. Very frustrating but good fun too. I eventually lost him after trying too hard at Nelson and running wide on the exit. Got my lap time down to 1m 32.9sec during that stint, pretty happy with that as I'd qualified with a 1m 35sec.
I was replaced by the 306, who did a 40 minute stint, then as the rain started we put out the MG, whose gearbox failed after 3 laps. This meant we had to put out the 405 again, with the intention of him putting in a mammoth 1hr 25 min stint to finish the race.
I was on standby for the final hour of the race, as the driver of the 405 was well into the wet weather groove. With 10 mins to go, his driveshaft gave up and I was waved frantically out of the pit garage. I haven't raced in the wet for a long time, and never in the 206. I'd said to the team manager that if I did have to go out, it would be a survival drive, nothing special. I gave it two laps to get some heat in the tyres and then thought I might as well use it as an experience, so started to push a bit harder. I was elated yet disappointed when the chequered flag came out. I recorded a peak speed of 112mph in the wet, only 8 mph less than in the dry, and a lap time similar to what Paul had been doing in the 405. Happy with that
So, after 1 hour we were 22nd, 2 hours we were 14th and 3 hours we were 11th. The failure of the MG gearbox and then the 405's driveshaft meant we finished in 14th place, out of 28 teams
Unfortunately my video footage is all over-exposed, I'll stick up a short vid of me pursuing the Civic but you can't see much...
Cheers,
Raz
