normally it's too late to regen it yourself if the message shown up.

could either force it to regen at the dealer; clean the whole unit and reset the counter or remove it.

Why is it that when someone puts a thread title like this, you just feel compelled to do it?

Probably not, but it may be a valid selling point with an expensive item no longer needed to be replaced or regenned I suppose.

Would it be more sought after without a DPF? lol

It's a bit of a grey area, with regards to the legality of removing the DPF. That may put off potential buyers.

If you are going to the expense of getting it removed, I would hold onto the car for a bit longer. Might as well get your moneys worth. Only downside is something else may fail in that time.

Something else is always going to fail on a car. Nothing is made to last forever.

PDF? Hehe.

I have no reason to get rid of it, in my way of thinking I was going to have to get it sorted anyway, wasn't expecting this soon, but these things happen of course.

I'm still astounded that the 23 litres of fuel I put in this morning is giving me 330 miles! Where my MR2 would drink 330 on £70!
