My mate pointed out my coolant was very low so today i bought some antifreeze nd summer coolant. Couldnt see the coolant as it was a bit dark when poured it in when it got to where it should b i could see the colour. And it came up as a dirty brown colour. Surely this isn't normal?!

standard citroen/peugeot stuff is blue in colour mate. if your worried about the browny colour just drain it out and refill. usually 3 or 4 litres of concentrate coolant then top up with water.

It could be the signs of the beginning of a head gasket failure.
Empty, flush then refill and watch the level and colour for a while.

there is a thread about how to change coolant.

pre-mixed stuff is useless in this case as you can't drain the coolant from the engine block easily (a good 4-5L will stay in the block)
