Iv got a 04 1.4hdi S
For-say the trip is 123.4 miles, when I get in and zero it by holding the button down for a few seconds it goes to 0.0, goes up thought my trip to for-say 12.3. Turn the car off come back 5 min later and my mileage will then be 135.7 (123.4+12.3). Goes back to zero after 1000 miles i think.
This is pretty irritating when trying to find out how many miles per tank im getting?
Red the hand book dint tell me any thing, just how to zero it. Any ones else do this or is it supposed to do it ?

Is that the trip counter of the MFD in the middle of the dash or the trip counter on the instrument cluster? Either way, it shouldn't do that!

On the instrument panel. The one where it displays total mileage then you press the button once and it displays the trip, Is pretty irritating.

Its a known BSI software bug, either live with the fault OR pay a Peugeot main dealer to update the BSI software.

And check for ECU updates as well while it's hooked-up.

Im guessing you mean the readout between the speedo and the rev counter-this sounds like its your service interval mileage telling you your due a service in 135.7 miles or your 137.5 miles over due for a service?do you have a small spanner lit up beside the numbers to the left?-a sure indicator that servicing is due....
Try this-with your ignition on hold the right button down on the clocks right hand side for about 8 seconds until the numbers flash then firmly press three times and this should be the mile counter you require.

The service indicator ONLY does whole figure readings!

So was it the clock readout you mention that displays the cars mileage as well as the service miles and the lap counter or the central bigger readout? Also,MR BSI ive noticed the mileage readout does do a decimal point but maybe only on the lap counter function?i need to check it?
