Taking the box off of my MR2 was a pain, but got that out in 4 hours, longer to get back in due to position and weight but that wasn't 11 all together.

One of the bolts for the box is hidden by the DPF, so you need to remove the filter and the cooling system.

Why the hell would they design it like that?
Or is it just so you have to take it to Pug and get it done?

Its only the 1.6 HDI that is a ballache to do the clutch on when fitted in the 206, the rest of the engines used in the 206 the clutch is dead simple & quick to replace.
1.6 HDI is also the only 206 that uses the problematic electro hydraulic power steering setup, all other 206 use a good old fashioned engine driven hydraulic pump.

I can get the box on and off in afternoon on a 1.4 in the freezing cold on axle stands, the most awkward part is lifting the box back in. the 138 isnt much different to do.
