This is second time now when crawling I put main beam on (just installed with hid) and the engine stalls very erratically with oil pressure insufficient warning. the oil is very erratic but there is enough of it in it.. When the high speed fan turns on also the revs drops and engine judders. I'm running 2 amps, full hid, 2 din, 1000w sub, interior lighting now it seems there is too much of it it stalls?? The electronics seems very dodgy, ALL errors can illuminate on mfd and dash then disappear when I restart engine. I feel like stripping to standard now to get back to normal. I'm sure also everything is wired correctly. Any advise on this?

Thanks all

The ballasts create a strong electro magnetic field and need to be placed away from the ECU and the looms.

the alternator is okay and the battery is new - feb this year but it is from the AA so I am not sure if I need a better battery, how can I check?

It will always say oil pressure insufficient when main beam comes on when I am crawling.

great moved it a 2-3 inches away, not stalling anymore Smile

But when I turn the aircon on and main beam, (again only when driving very slow) the main beam lights were flashing in sequence with high pitch sound coming from the speakers, I could hear engine/ignition noises from the speakers like fans and clicks. After another minute of driving it seemed all okay but there is an annoying high pitch sound when I turn unit off/on. This high pitch sound I'm sure is linked to where all the errors show up.
