Everywhere online, I see the exact same thing PLASTERED over the internet many times:

CENTRAL DOOR LOCK (1 BUTTON PLIP KEY)
1. Ensure all the doors are unlocked using the key.
2. Press and hold the plip key button until the LED stops flashing.
3. After releasing the button, the LED will light constantly.
4. Press the Plip Button once, and the LED will extinguish.
5. Open the door and hold the Plip key near the Ignition switch, and press the plip button one time.
6. Turn the ignition ON, and wait 10 seconds, then turn ignition OFF.
7. After 5 seconds the Plip should now operate. |
In all the threads about programming pre plexed car keys I have found through thorough searching, no one has ever said it has worked.
The fact it is online means either someone is trolling a lot of people, or it is just a very complicated knack because it has not worked for me.
I emailed my local peugeot garage and they said that they could reprogram a used remote central locking board which shows that it can be done, but whether it is by this method I do not know.
I would be grateful for any light you can shed on this perplexing problem

FFS how many times does this have to be repeated on here:
Those are the instructions to RESYNC a keyfob with a car NOT recode a used keyfob to a different car.

There is no point as 90% of the people that come on here dont even bother with the useful information thats already been sticked & just ask the same stupid repeat questions

Seriously. Can you not read?!
Peugeot wouldnt allow a public person to recode a key just like that, you need a coder to redo a key. That is for re-syncing a fob if you have replaced the battery

I really dont know why i bother any more seabook.
More and more one post wonders fill this forum. Its far from what it was, which just makes me kinda sad inside
