Tried to check amount of antifreeze in coolant tank the other day but the kinked neck below the filler cap means the guage I normally use is way to short to draw up any fluid.
Any suggestions to a guage/tester that will fit the tank opening?

Yeah, was thinking that too. Haven't got a bit that will fit right now but can't be too long as priming bulb only has a certain capacity of how much it will draw up standard length of tube

Buy a decent tester then? Mine was £8 from a local motor outlet and has a nice long tube on the end.

those hydro-type tester is pretty useless and inaccurate.
and strictly speaking unless you keep toping it up with water, the ratio of anti-freeze to water will remain constant.

Thats exactly like the one I've got, except the tube is only about 2" long. I reckon one of my blokes has chopped the end off for some reason. Perhaps I'll do the same to him.............
Edit: In motor spares shop today and turns out they do one with a short tube and one with a long tube. When I bought the short one it was the only one they had.
Managed to draw enough out with a LARGE syringe and a bit of fuel pipe.
