My original engine was cable operated clutch and Gary converted it to hydraulic but somehow kept some of the cable operation? It was bizarre and a very stiff clutch pedal and a gear shift (had to apply around 10kg of pressure to change gear) - yes it was that stiff!
He has now changed it completely so I will see what it like when comes back!

Do we want Dynodaze in Hinckley or HLM again in Bromsgrove?
I'm not faffing around with polls again to set location or date, or sending loads of messages out to chase people, I just don't have time for that. So give me a few comments and I'll make a decision

The CCUK people have used Dynodaze Hinckley quite regularly for RR & have always been very happy with them

I personally think we should just keep to what we know mate... less hassle and faffing around.
I did have a bit of an issue getting in and out of the place and even more so when I thought about possibly getting onto the roller. But that was just how low my car was lol.
I vote HLM... we've done it a few times now (am I right Andrew..?) and never had a problem and a great turn out.

So I've been aiming to sort out a meet once every 6 months and the turn out so far has been good. I reckon we could fit one in before the end of the year
Maybe we could do the rolling road thing again, maybe something else this time? Just want to know who would be interested. Would be looking at the Wolves/Stourbridge/Birmingham area |
We would be up for this, we have a gti and Type r GT to test,

Hmmm.... if you do a rolling road session, let me know, I may make the trip down from bangor if I get enough notice to book off work and get money sorted. |
Lee we could convoy it?

Right
I've booked this for Saturday 24th November at HLM Tuning - its seems closer for the people I am getting comments from, and we've dealt with them twice before and know that they strap the cars down correctly, have accurate dyno etc.. It also gives continuity with the graphs for people that have been before and modded their car since
They told me on the phone that they have acquired a lot of remapping equipment and can offer tailored remaps, usually around £250 but could offer a discount for us on the day. The dyno runs are £35 for 3 runs and AFR - I need to keep them updated with the numbers we are bringing so they know how many staff to put on.
Please PM me if you are interested so I can keep tabs
