Hi

Im planning a turbo conversion and still have a few questions that google cannot answer for me. I was hoping that people with experience would be able to help me out with this.

1) Where is a good place to get a custom intake/exhaust manifold made in London.

2) Can I use parts from the 1.6hdi in my 1.6 petrol?? Parts such as the manifolds and turbo??

3) How would I connect the oil supply to the turbo??

4) Is there enough space under the hood?? It seems like a really tight fit

5) Would it be okay to keep the stock internals of the engine whilst running the turbo at low boost (3-5Psi)?? I will change it eventually but I may not have time to do everything at once as the car will still be used for commuting.

Any help at all would be appreciated!!
Cheers

1) there is off the shelf turbo exhaust manifold for most pug engine TU5 and also EW10

2) manifold=no, turbo=yes but you need adapter for the flag

3) through the oil feed and return pipe of course, easiest way would be route it from the oil cooler.

4) of course there is enough space as this has been done to dead Laughing

5) yes

So apparently everyone knows my financial situation? If I wanted a 180 I would have bought a 180 simples Smile

Wont a turbo from a diesel melt on a petrol engine? How will it give enough flow for the higher revs of a petrol engine?
