Hi,

I have a 2000 206 1.4 8v, the engine has seized, right I have the possibility of a 1.4 engine out of a 2000 306, are they the same engines, if not what needs to be changed to make it fit. I believe they are both 8v.

Thank you in advance for all replies.

steve

That's your opinion, most people like to be legal.

Engine swap insurance isn't difficult if you speak to the right insurers.

Why? I assume because of the cost implications? You never know, you might be pleasantly surprised.

Example, I have a heavily modified and engine swapped car, I pay less for my engine swap insurance than the prices I get running my car with the standard engine and no mods through a price comparison siste, sure I work for Sky and get a great deal but I shop around myself each year and most specialists come in cheaper than the compasison sites on a standard car, the only way I can beat the price is if I opt for a classic car policy.

Thanks

Ollie

^ Indeed. A voided policy is about as bad as it gets as far as an insurer is concerned.

A lot of people simply do not know there are insurers out there who actually prefer modified car insurance and they tend to just stick with the well known standard car insurers.
