I noticed the other day they my driver side door doesn't stay open half way. I got out the car, opened the door, and nearly knocked my brains out when it flew back at me.
Is it an easy/cheap fix? or not work bothering with?
I just don't want to forget and open it into someones car.

Probably just the check strap gone. They're about £26 from the dealers and just bolt on.

I think I have this problem with my car, is it like it has totally free swing to fully open sort of thing and if you are on a slope with the car down the slope from the opening of the door, the door will just swing shut again? I would guess its like a stop catch or something? So I need check straps yeah?
Anyone got a cheap check strap I could buy please?
