2000 W reg 1.4 206 GLX, when on idle it is hunting I would call it, between 800 and 1000 revs, so far have changed, coil pack, injectors, both elctronic devises on the throttle body, new seal between throttle body and inlet manifold, checked all vacume pipes are sealed, compression is fine and plenty of petrol at injector rail.

NO mil light on, starts fine, but begins to hunt on idle straightaway, when on road, accelerates to 70mph no problem and maintain the speed ok, just a idle problem.

Its not a misfire, have also checked all sparkplugs are firing.

All suggestions welcome as my wife is now begininning to give me grief about her car.

No I still have the original ones, the fault was cleared and didn't seem to reappear

A couple of years ago I had a problem with cold starts, it would idle at 1500 for a while and slowly drop. The ECU was updated/reset and that solved that. I would definately find someone near you that has the equipment to see whats been logged before you throw any more parts at it
