Can anyone help? The other night I pulled up on my drive and as usual went to turn off my engine but the key wouldn't turn, it was literally jammed solid. I had to stall my car to turn it off and I disconnected the battery as all the electrics stayed on, I managed to pull the key out (with a struggle) and slightly bending the key but now the key doesn't slide into tho ignition smoothly and doesn't turn the car on or lock the doors manually, is this simply a case of getting a new ignition barrel and key? Then swapping the chip from my old key to my new key? Would that work?

Have you taken the transponder chip out of the old bent key and put it in the new one? Also did you fit the barrel as I had the exact same problem. When I fitted the new barrel I had the thick red and yellow wires the wrong way round in the plug in the fusebox and mine wouldn't fire either.
