You need to check if the wires are already behind the glove box. It's been a couple of years since I did mine and I can't remember what colour plugs they were. Just put you hand up behind and on top and you should feel them.

Have you already got the cut out in the glove box?

You can buy the lamp unit and switch from the dealers, used to be less than £10 for the two items. Feed one of the block connectors through the hole in the glove box and connect it nto the lamp, push into place. There should be a small square hole at the bottom right of the glove box where the lid closes against. Push the other connector through this and plug it into the switch, push the switch into place. Job done.

If the connectors aren't already there, then you will need to find a switched live feed and create the circuit yourself.

6362C8 (until RPO 08210) Lamp unit £12.89
6362N6 (from RPO 08211) Lamp unit £3.74
633918 Switch £3.54

The RPO number should be on the sticker inside the drivers door jam or on the top of the strut mount under the bonnet.
