Hi everyone
Not a major problem, but I cannot seem to reset the service indicator on my 2003 1.4hdi. Foot on brake, hold down the reset button, turn on ignition. Counts down from 10 to 0 and displays =0. release button, turn ignition off. Notice spanner next to mileage disappears. Turn ignition on again, display shows (correctly) 12000 till next service. But when I actually start the car, spanner re-appears and display shows service miles as before - currently 250 miles overdue..!!! Very frustrating!
Any suggestions? I've tried this many times over the last few months and it happens the same way every time.
Thanks in advance

I do service my car myself, and I always reset the service miles when I do. It's never been a problem in the past, just suddenly wont reset...
