Hopefully someone can help. I have been told that my indicator illuminates slightly when car is in reverse. It only happens in reverse. Its fine in all other gears. Could it be the comms unit on steering wheel as sometimes after indicating it puts on main beams by itself!
Any advice appreciated

Rear indicator? If so check the connections behind the light unit especially the earth.
Used to be common fault on Fords. Brake and the indicator lights up, indicate and the side light flashed. Nearly always came down to being a bad earth.

I should have said. It is the the front indicator light that comes on. It doesn't come on fully but enough to be noticed.
