Anyone else got a problem with only being able to use the rubber type aerials, as my car has the aerial positioned on the rear of the roof and when i open the boot lid the top spoiler pushes against the aerial and causes it to bend so i cannot put a richbrook or a stubby metal type aerial as it does not have the capability to bend and it would just simply damage the rear spoiler.

Has anyone else had this type of problem and s there a fix or is it a case of put up & shut up

A trick I've been told by people at work is put a line of clear and hardly noticeable sticky tape on the spoiler and the aerial will rub against it but won't cause any damage, or maybe minimal
Get off the bandwagon, and put down the handbook.
